SAN DIEGO — Want to lose weight? Start by exercising your brain! The Brain Warrior, Neal Phalora, joined Morning Extra to show how to give your mind a workout.
He says brain fitness doesn't have to be a health condition. It could be any belief that is limiting you. Phalora gave an example of a runner he had helped who had broken his ankle and had a mental block about running. Anytime the runner was triggered (feeling negative and thinking negatively) Phalora gave him an individualized approach to bring in the strongly happy and joyous visualizations of his life/performance. He ended up with the best runtime of his career. Brain fitness is about rewiring those things that trigger you physically and emotionally.
